Conversation History  | Right. Judging a person won't be a helped. It is much better to focus our life to our Lord Jesus Christ. But, it is a reminder for each of us not to compromise with this world. Our enemy used a lot of things in order for us to fall in his trap. One of these na nga is through music. And as a Christian, we should be more aware about that. Just because a person is talented and is good looking, we should not follow their examples but follow Jesus. It's a matter of the reflection she/he is showing to the people. Is that reflection coming from the Lord? or from our enemy?
Anyway, God gave us a discerning spirit to identify the work of our enemy and a wisdom to choose. Now, if we don't have it, well, you have to think about it, there is something "wrong" with you.
It is better to choose songs for the Lord rather than singing songs with this world. We should be a light to everyone... You can't be a light if you are compromising, isn't it? |

| Right. Nobody is perfect and truly she needs the real God. But, as a Christian, how are we going to deal with these kinds of songs? Are we going to compromise? The gospel about Jesus Christ our Lord is not like before that was hidden from the public. Today, in our modern and high technology, for sure she heard about the Lord. Besides, it is hard for a person to convince to come to the Lord esp if that person has everything she wants already. |

| Well, that could be true Jediah but we have to be sensitive to our environment (as a Christian) as well. Remember, our enemy is also able to present himself like a good person but there is something behind that reason.
I am not sure if she really did, but the catch is, God gave us His Holy Spirit to discern the tactics of our enemy. Not because that the lyrics of some of her songs are good and encouraging that means that we have to value and go for it. |
